1. Elbows back - we want to create a shelf for the bar to sit on and create tension throughout the whole upper back. This allows our mid section to maintain its stiffness which will help to protect your back and increase your performance.
2. Knees out - There are many que's we can use for this but the main thing we want you doing here is driving your knees out. This will help to recruit your big glute muscles, which will increase your performance and protect your lift.
3. Push the floor away - We want you driving through your feet so that you are able to create as much force as possible. If you are able to maintain a tripod position with your feet you are able to drive through your feet, allowing you to lift more weight, more efficiently.
